Why I do this work
I believe homeownership is one of the most meaningful steps a person can take toward building stability in their life. A home is more than a financial asset—it provides a place to build your life, put down roots, and feel connected to a community. I enjoy helping people navigate the financing that can make that possible.
Who I work with
I primarily work with first-time homebuyers and enjoy helping them understand the financing process from the beginning. I believe education is an important part of the homebuying process, and I want my clients to clearly understand their financing options and feel informed and confident about the decisions they are making throughout their transaction.
The misunderstanding I correct most
The biggest misconception I correct is that the interest rate is the most important thing. It isn't. What really matters is your cash flow and staying within your budget. So let's figure out the finances that actually work today and get you into a home you like and enjoy right now. If your situation changes down the road, we can take another look at your financing then.
Before mortgage lending
I entered mortgage lending in July 2026, bringing more than seven years of experience in lending, finance, and small-business tax work. Before becoming a Mortgage Loan Originator, I spent three and a half years as a small-business lender with a nonprofit organization, helping business owners navigate financing and make informed financial decisions. Prior to that, I spent three years working in tax and bookkeeping for small businesses.
A story from small-business lending
For most people, starting a small business feels like jumping off a cliff. One borrower I worked with was starting over. Rather than walk away from the career he had spent years building, we built a plan: keep that stability while the business grew, set a realistic first-year business plan, and size the loan so it helped his cash flow instead of straining it. It worked more like coaching than a single transaction. The plan fit where he was, got his foot in the door, and grew into a much larger opportunity.
Home
I live just outside of Bozeman, Montana, and was born and raised in the area. Having spent most of my life here, I have a strong connection to Southwest Montana and the communities that make it home. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in the mountains and exploring the different landscapes Montana has to offer.
