How I got here
After twenty-plus years in banking I was tired of telling clients no. A bank lends its own money, so a file either fits that one box or it does not. Mortgage brokering gave me more room to say yes, because the same file can go to a lot of different lenders instead of just one.
What clients should expect
A relationship, not a transaction. I would rather take the time to explain how the programs actually differ than move somebody through a process they do not understand.
